Tous les navires produisent des eaux de fond de cale contenant une quantit\u00e9 plus ou moins importante d\u2019hydrocarbures. Ces eaux sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement trait\u00e9es \u00e0 bord par des appareils actuellement peu efficaces qui am\u00e8nent les armateurs \u00e0 stocker les eaux et \u00e0 les faire traiter \u00e0 quai. Ces prestations repr\u00e9sentent des co\u00fbts \u00e9lev\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Les eaux de fond de cale contiennent du carburant, des hydrocarbures, des graisses, antigel, des produits de nettoyage, des solvants, d\u00e9tergents, m\u00e9taux (arsenic, cuivre, canyon, chrome, nickel, argent, mercure, s\u00e9l\u00e9nium, zinc\u2026), des additifs, des liquides r\u00e9frig\u00e9rant de moteur, des agents anti corrosion et des lessives. Actuellement ces eaux sont trait\u00e9es par des d\u00e9canteurs-flottateurs souvent coupl\u00e9s avec des filtres poches de quelques microns. Un projet d\u2019\u00e9tendre cette norme de 5 ppm, plus contraignante,\u00a0 est \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tude.<\/p>\n<p>Pour traiter ces effluents il faut des \u00e9quipements permettant un filtrage d\u2019hydrocarbures. Les proc\u00e9d\u00e9s d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s doivent \u00eatre compacts au regard de la place disponible dans les bateaux et doivent \u00e9galement \u00eatre simples d\u2019utilisation. Des \u00e9tudes sont men\u00e9es afin de coupler une \u00e9tape de d\u00e9cantation \u00e0 une \u00e9tape de filtration par proc\u00e9d\u00e9 membranaire. La r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ration des membranes sera un facteur cl\u00e9 du proc\u00e9d\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Ces solutions permettent de r\u00e9duire les co\u00fbts et de garantir un traitement de l\u2019eau efficace afin qu\u2019elle soit conforme \u00e0 la norme. Les \u00e9tudes de faisabilit\u00e9 men\u00e9es en laboratoire ont \u00e9t\u00e9 concluantes avec l\u2019utilisation de l\u2019ultra filtration. Suite \u00e0 ces \u00e9tudes, une collaboration entre l\u2019universit\u00e9 Paul C\u00e9zanne, la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des Eaux de Marseille, la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Nationale Corse M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e et la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Novasep, a permis l\u2019installation \u00e0 bord de plusieurs bateaux d\u2019un skid industriel. Le traitement ainsi mis en place s\u2019est r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 efficace.
